As a Travel RN specializing in MICU, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and documenting patient progress. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care during their critical moments.

• Location: Houston, Texas
• Specialty: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extension
• Shift: Variable shifts available
• Compensation: Up to $2917.5 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• At least 2 years of experience in a MICU setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to new environments quickly.
